Stress

Stressed out looking after the 2 small ones... I even forgot about my KKH appointment that I was supposed to take the blood test 1 week earlier before seeing the doctor. Mind blank!

Louye said that I could have called and asked them if taking the blood test 1 day in advance was enough. It never crossed my mind then so/and I changed the appointment instead... Earliest slot they had for me was 3 weeks later.

Haiz... What to do? What was already done cannot be undone... No choice if the doctor was going to be unhappy...

Had some disagreements with Dardar which we trashed things out that evening... The 2 young ones followed Louye's car back while I returned with/in Dardar/'s. Talked and cried in the car as I told him how I felt that I cannot cope.

Didnt return home right away as we continued our talk by taking a walk around the estate. Since the mood was right, I didnt want to disrupt it. Dardar said Louye didnt look too happy when we returned but I guess things were soon put to right?

Sweep The Floor

Hehe... My son was practicing his "skills" again. Coincidentally enough, Dardar said that our vacuum cleaner was going to be spoilt soon... Without it, Hanhan will still be able to help clean the floor. :p

One Step At A Time

Ok, Deed, take care, ya. Too much negativity is not good, especially when it follows you? Dont/Wont want you to get into a depression... Try to let go of things in the office when you are going home, be happy and stay cheerful once you have knocked off? :)

As for your partner, I only have contempt for such people. I guess one step at a time for now, see how things go after the adjustment of job scope? I hope things will only improve for you. Jia you!

Not No Heart

Hehe... Deed was saying that they no heart... But if really no heart, you would not have bothered to check our/the blogs for updates on happenings on one another's lives le... So... Dont say that. :)

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen nor touched, but were felt in the heart. I knew each of us were busy but thinking of/for one another... Leaving one another more time for/to rest, more time for/to study etc.

Hope you can be "released" from your partner soon, Deed. See if work can be rearranged so that he became fully responsible for himself, his work. You also cannot be softhearted and spoonfeed/babysit him anymore. Going one year le, he should know better.

My Little Houseboy

Hehe... A clip of my little boy hard at work... Vacuuming the house. When I told Dreamer about it, she asked why I didnt video it down to show her. Lol... Hence, here it was... For all to share. ~.~

Sympathized With Deed

I sympathized with Deed... Especially after the encounter with our Mr OST. Luckily, I was in a better position than she was? In the sense that I was responsible for my work while he can be "made" responsible for his...

From the beginning I was really stressed and upset by him...

Taught him nicely, told him that if he didnt understand anything, please double check with me. He thought he knew but did all the wrong things. No matter how many times I rectified him, it seemed that they were all fallen on deaf ears.

Asked him to amend his mistakes and he sat on things. Probably hoping someone will take it off his hands, which I at first did. I helped him clear up his mess because I cannot take it lying there. He was supposed to be my assistant, his duties were part of mine.

Eventually after many months, I just closed my eyes to whatever he did... I forced him full responsibility of his work, by making him did the/each full job. I didnt want to interfere and I didnt want to know.

When people questioned why something was done wrongly or why something was not done, I just told them to look for him because he was the person in charge of that particular job.

Nevertheless, he still caused me a lot of anguish and stress. Hence, I can understand what Deed was going through...

Traumatising Day

I guess today was Tungtung's most traumatising day up till date...

Everything was well until her medical appointment at KKH. 1stly, Clinic K was so cold... There were a couple of times where she needed to be unwrapped from the swaddle which kept her warm. Hence, she cried...

2ndly, she was screaming away at the room where blood was drawn for her thyroid test. The nurse cannot find her veins because they were so fine. At the end of it, her whole hand was bruised. So heartache...

3rdly, found out that her poo leaked out of her diaper. Had no choice but to give her a bathe at Gu Chays' place. Lol... Sei Gu Chay's blouse got the poo during the whole commotion. Maybe, she will win the lottery soon. :p

4thly, guess Tungtung was so upset that she wanted to suck but everybody thought she wanted milk? She cried and cried and they fed and fed. Eventually, she fell asleep. And vomited milk as well...

By this time, she no longer had any energy left... Papa cleaned her up, changed her clothing, bedsheets while she continued to sleep throughout. Poor girl... Sayang sayang...

One Me

Mood for the past few days had been really bad... Think there were times I cannot cope with the 2 babies too... Most probably worrying too much? Especially for the naughty elder one, who was running and jumping? Hope he wont hurt himself...

Had not been sleeping well since I need to wake up often for the night feeds. Was tired... Was trying to get enough naps but I just cannot drop off into dreamland so readily at times? I did want to breastfeed her now whenever I can. It was better and soon, I will need wean her to drink formulae milk instead before I returned to work.

Both babies were still having runny noses? Especially Hanhan when he slept in the aircon room without extra clothing to keep him warm. He would toss and turn in the night and cried due to his blocked nose.

Hanhan had been clamouring for attention at the same time that Tungtung cried. Lol... How to handle the both of them at the same time? He would want me to put his crying sister into her playpen and carried him instead, else he will cry too. Waaail...

Mothers

For those of you who are great moms, those of you who plan to be great moms and those who have great moms...

REAL MOTHERS

Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids.
Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of shag carpets.
Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask "Why me?" and get their answer when a little voice says, "Because I love you best."
Real Mothers know that a child ' s growth is not measured by height or years or grade...It is marked by the progression of Mama to Mom to Mother...

The Images of Mother

4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mommy can do anything!
8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
14 YEARS OF AGE - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!
25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mom' s opinion.
45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

Bad Mood

Today's sky and sea looked so blue... While the trees had a nice shade of dark green... Though the weather looked good, I didnt think I was having the best of mood.

After the visit to the polyclinic yesterday, didnt know if Tungtung's flu had became worse? She had been crying in middle of sleep and choking? Hope my breast milk had given her the antibodies to fight back and get well really soon?

However, one good news from the polyclinic visit was that her jaundice was low enough for her not to go back for follow up again. Yippee! No more jaundice test! Did this mean I can eat Louye's vinegar pig trotter now? :)

Hanhan also lao gai a lot today. The tap from his nose was running like nobody's business, especially when he cried. Wondered when he was going to get well too? I hope it wont affect Tungtung's condition?

Tough luck this afternoon when everybody was not around, except Gorgor who was taking a nap. Really bad mood...

Ntuc With Yeye

Hehe... Some photos taken when Hanhan went to Ntuc before Tungtung was born...

It was not very often that Hanhan dressed so nicely. Usually, he will wear rompers day in day out. However, at night, we will make him wear long pants as well. Didnt want his legs to feel cold sleeping in aircon room.

This 2 pcs wear made him looked so much bigger. Yeye bought him the clothing when they went to Bangkok last year. :) It seemed like just yesterday that he was still a tiny baby, my little baby...

Gu Chays Visits

Gu Chays had been visiting us every day for the past few days... Of which I was glad. They didnt stay for long. The visiting time is usually late morning, around 10.30pm to late afternoon, around 3pm.

At first, they didnt dare to come because they were worried that I would like to rest without visitors. Lol... But I liked their visits.

When Gu Chays were here, Louye and I would have breaks from notty little Hanhan. And sometimes, we could/would chat about stuffs. And sometimes, I got time to settle other stuffs. The days became less tiring and the babies became easier to manage?

Sunday Visit

My dad, sisters and brother-in-law came and paid me a visit on Sunday. They bought wine, chicken essence, milo, eggs etc. Louye said the eggs were very fresh when he cooked some that night.

I was feeding Meimei inside the bedroom when they arrived. Hence, Dardar and Hanhan entertained them first. I was surprised that Mum didnt come along. But Dad said that she was busy with activities during the weekends, he didnt get to see her at home during the past few weekends either.

Sometimes, I really wondered... What was more important than your family? You had none of the quantity or quality time? Mum took too much things for granted... She would rather trust her friends than her family... She would rather listen to them than listen to us.
