I finally got my washing machine over the weekends. Supposed to meet up with the Interior Designer to go see the house again but the air con people, the carperter wont be available. Hence, shifted everything to next Saturday. Hopefully all will be available then.
The last time we went to Harvey Norman, the sales lady recommended a Samsung washing machine. Asked the sales manager to give us a quotation while we think over it for the week. Dar dar liked the Toshiba washing machine better because it had the save water function. When we went to Harvey Norman again, the sales lady recommended another Fisher and Paykel because it was on special offer. It was a New Zealand/ Australian product and it has the eco function which saves up to 35% of water. Lol... Thought over the Samsung, decided on the Toshiba, bought a Fisher & Paykel.

Louye
Louye dotes on me...
During our wedding, Louye bought me a set of jewellery. As our wedding diamond rings were from Lee Hwa Destinee, he asked me to choose a set from the Destinee collection as well. After buying that one whole set costing more than $5k, he wanted to get me another set for the tea ceremony as he wanted to use the earlier set during the Guo Da Li. Dar dar and I managed to convince him that just one item would be enough. We claimed back all the points on this item and Louye joked that he bought it so cheap. Lol...
When I was small, I didnt dare to eat durians. I think it is because of the texture of the durians. Unlike other fruits, durian meat is really soft and messy. When you eat you will get the meat stick all over your fingers, then you lick everything up and clean them off. Lol... Last time, Louye bought because Ah Ma and Ah Ye like to eat? Now he said Sally likes to eat mah... Yesterday, he went shopping in the afternoon with Dar dar and came across the Durian stall. Bought 3 big packets of durians, the big square ones. We ate 1 of them that night. Yummy yummy!
We made sure that there is a continuous supply of bread at home so that Louye can eat them if he is hungry. Ended up being our sandwiches each morning and Dar dar commented that they are getting bigger and bigger. Hehe... It is very true. The very first one had only ham in it. Then later, cheese was added. And now, it has slices of cucumber too. Knowing that we wont have time to make the sandwiches on our own, he had been been making them for us. ^-^ Thanks Louye!

Blessed Home
We got our keys last Thursday. Was very excited about it, finally at long last... Hehe... Arranged with Dad to go and bless our future home last Saturday. Danny told me that the very first time that we went into our home was very important. He advised us to bring auspicious stuffs like the pineapple "Wang Wang!", oranges respresenting Wealth, etc... I bought along pistachios respresenting Happiness. Dad brought along a tub of lime and flowers. Everybody waited outside while he did the ritual. Left everything as they were till the next day when we came to clean up the place. Dad told us to sweep up the limes and flowers using newpapers and cardboards, not suppose to touch them. Then left everything beside a tree downstairs. The interior designer, Wendy came with her colleague who did a sketching of the place along with their measurements. We wanted some changes after seeing the actual flat.
I was blur blur. Dar dar said that I changed the OT week with my colleagues till I blur already. This week was supposed to be Randy's OT week but I thought it was mine. Hence, last minute arrangements with Louye and Dar dar to have dinner together. I had mee rebus while Dar dar had mee siam. Such a big bowl each, ate till I dont think I would want to eat that for a very long time.Went to Harvey Norman to look at the fridge, washing machine and television. Toshiba Lcd televisions were having a promotion. The full HD ones only had 42" and bigger. Hmm... At the fridges, Dar dar asked the sales lady to recommend one for a family of 5 and she recommended a 530L Samsung fridge. We bought these 2 first, since they were on promotions and Harvey Norman gave us more discounts as a package. Still pondering over which washing machine to get. I want one that washes well and Dar dar wants one that saves on water and electricity.

Miss Clarity Cafe Gathering
Met Eneristar 1st... Shopped around a bit as we thought the rest of the girls were not there yet. Passed pressie to her 1st. Hope she likes it as I dont know what to buy and shopped a long time before I bought it. Lol... Saw Aquazone's new hair style. Like what Deed said, not too great a change. Hair had been rebonded but colored and shorter. You look nice. :)
Walke over to Miss Clarity Cafe where there was a long queue. As we waited, Aquazone was given a short lesson on how to dress up herself, they hope to marry her off before she reached 30. Hehe...
Food at Miss Clarity was okies. Guess I dont really like the very strong butter taste. What we enjoyed most is the tub of Ben & Jerry banana walnut chocolate ice cream? Yummy yummy. Initially had planned for 2 but dont think we can squeeze so much in. :p
Our next meeting is scheuled in December. Let me check with my OT timetable before I let you all know whether 21/12 is fine with me because I have to OT till 7pm everyday during my OT week.

Conflict Of Interest
Our company was involved in a tender recently. Found out that most of the suppliers were participating in the tender as well. One supplier replied, "I have checked pertaining to your inquiry and regret to inform you that we are already working on this tender. Therefore, we have to decline your request. We hope that we can work on other future deal."
Well, my argument is otherwise... Wont it increase the chances of selling your machines? If we win the tender, we will be buying them from you. We sell, you sell too. Of course, you wont be earning as much as being awarded the tender yourself. But it is better than others winning the tender and selling their machines instead, isnt it? By helping us, you are also helping yourself.
Oh dear, think I am getting stressed out by all the out-sourcing. Hope this will not last... Haiz...

Next Week
Lots of things to do next week.
Changed my OT duty for the week with Sje Teck. Lol... He said I naggy when I tried to explain why the change. Danny showed me that Randy wouldnt be around in the office when I am off for my holiday. He is going for reservist. As for me, I am going to Zhangjiajie, China for 2 weeks. Hehe... Happy happy!
Getting my keys next Thursday. Yippee yippee! Arranged with the Interior Designer to go see our flat next Sunday. But we had arranged with Dad to go 'clear' the place 1st on Saturday. Hehe... The designs were getting better, better than the previous drafts.
Meeting the girls on Friday night. And yes, Galgal, I wanna meet up with you too. :) Gonna have our dinner at a resturant called Miss Clarity. According to Deed, it is a French restaurant. Lol... Never eat before so hope that it would be good. See ya!
