My Sup has tendered...
It was not a sudden decision as he had mentioned before that he cannot take the stress of working for our Boss. Initially, he was waiting for the transfer to the Accounts Department. However, I guess what happened this week expedite everything.
He no longer wants to wait, he just want to pack and go. He told/explained everything to me privately. A lot of his friends were telling him to go... Why want to make himself so unhappy staying here? Moreover, the stress is now affecting his health badly.
He asked me to talk to Boss about my maternity leave when he is back in Singapore on his next trip. Sup said that he probably wont be around as he should/would be clearing his 30+ days leave. Hmm...

Happenings These Few days
1st thing 1st... Hehe... CONGRATES to Deed! Haha... She told me over msn on Friday. Am glad that she got the job and I think the prospect seems good. These 3 months can be a "trying" period for both her and company. If they liked each other well enough, they can probably convert her to perm. If not, like what her friend said, she can concentrate on her upcoming examinations. Jia you le, Deed!
Went back home for dinner on Thursday night. As Dar dar went to tpjc for invigilation, he returned to my parents' place early. Erm... I didnt get to see my 2 youngest sisters because they had left early for their manga drawing lesson. Think both my parents enjoyed their KL/Genting very much. Hehe... Had a lot to talk about. ;)
Finally consult the cookbooks for help on what to cook for lunch yesterday. Dont want the food to end up like the flop "sweet sour pork". Lol... Food was rather oily as they were all fried and stired fried. Only 2 dishes but there were plenty to eat. Louye took a short nap on the sofa after lunch, while we were cleaning up kitchen and us. Hehe...
Ah Mah played mahjong with us! And she won 5 rounds! Haha... They said playing mahjong is good for the eldery as it keeps their brain active. Need to think about what to keep/throw and how to game mah. Yesterday she played with us till the game ended. Even Ng Yee was surprised when she came and saw Ah Ma playing mahjong. Hehe...

Super Flu Bug
I think the super flu bug caught me... Been sniffing on and off since Thursday. At times, I managed to shake it off for a while...
I brought some work back to do on Friday night. Was planning to spend Saturday with family and rest a while before resuming work on Sunday. However, "ren suan bu ru tian suan"... Flu Bug refused to let me off.
Sniffing like mad the night before, it was still there when I woke up. I guess it tired me out. Slept till 8.30am. Dar dar was pleased? I hardly woke up so late? Sniffing the whole morning and still sniffing away when we came back from lunch.
Ended up didnt do anything and went straight back to bed for a nap. Sleeping Beauty slept through till evening, woking up only at 6pm! Ehz... Must/Gonna work overtime tomorrow...

Home Cooked Food
Went back and camped at Sengkang on Friday night. Initially, was supposed to home cook dinner together but I had to stay back till 6.45pm to finish some work. Luckily, Dar dar cooked dinner for the both of us.
We had taiwanese sausages, chicken patties, fried chai xin and rice. It was a very heartwarming meal. Thanks dear. Hugs hugs... Later in the night, Dar dar even made me steam egg for supper. Hehe... ^_^
Woke up early saturday morning and went to Rivervale NTUC to buy ingredients for lunch. We bought salmon, kai lan and cube pork. Louye called to say that they would be coming early but I didnt expect them to be so early. I think they reached at about 11.30pm.
I didnt hear them come in... Usually, we will just finished cooking and opened the gate for them when they came. But that day, Louye used the keys we gave him. He came in and was just standing behind me, I got a fright. Hehe... I think I gave him a fright as well. Lol... :p
Th sweet sour pork was a big flop. Erm... Eventually, we had to use the steam oven to make sure they were cooked. But Louye told Gu chays that the baked salmon was nice. Mum would just apply salt and fried the salmon, then she would add coleslaw which we ate with. However, I just applied salt and baked it in the oven. Was happy that it turned out ok. :)

Checkup
Louye and Gu chays came to fetch me to have lunch and then to KKH for my checkup. Louye asked me to decide where I wanted to have lunch but I really didnt know as I didnt know what were the eating places along the way to KKH. Hehe... Finally decided on Tiong Bahru Market.
Tiong Bahru Market is our favourite food hunt, especially after my OTs. It is near and we will usually eat at our favourite roasted meat stall. However, it was not open today. Louye and Yee Gu Chay tried another roasted meat stall while Sei Gu Chay and I had Lor Mee. Hehe...
We reached KKH around 2.15pm. Sei Gu Chay called Dar dar when he was rushing down after his lessons, hoping to make it on time to accompany me for the medical appointment. Thanks dear... Hugs... ^-^ Everybody doted on me, especially you...!

Settled
The whole issue had finally been settled, we hope.
They came at 11.30am to collect the chairs. We got the $130 vouchers though they were supposed to be valid till 5th July 2009. Didnt let them into the flat as we cannot trust them.
Once we got the vouchers, we pushed the 4 chairs out of the gate. Got them to sign on the receipt that they had gotten the 4 loan chairs back in good conditions, least...
Yippee! Finally can move forwards without worries. Hehe...

Small Claims Tribunals
I felt that we had pian yi them already…
They were late. Then they scolded Dar dar in all sorts of names, though they should be the ones be called the names. Eventually, the registrar had to restrict the lady boss, Ms Jacqueline Tan by saying that this was not supposed to be a personal attack.
We felt that it was not worth the time and trouble so we took a step back. The final verdict is (1) We keep the 6 wrong chairs and they compensate us $130 ntuc gift vouchers, (2) We return the 4 loan chairs and they come collect the chairs between 11-12 noon this saturday.
Initially, 1st Choice was so ridiculous as to want us to be available the whole morning for them to come collect the chairs. You wait long long… If you are not coming on time, we are going to appeal to court. No more nice people!

Wonderful Meeting
Had a wonderful meeting with the girls on Tuesday night…
Was supposed to stay till 7pm but since my colleague was around, he let me off 10 minutes earlier. I managed to take the earlier shuttle bus down and reached Bugis 10 minutes earlier too?
Thought the girls will go and check out the steamboat restaurant before I reached there. However, they were too hungry and decided to snack first. Mei said she only patronized one of the steamboat shops, that was the one we went. Else I guess we had to find another eating place.
I liked the soup bases, we had 2 soup bases. Think I like the spicy one that Mei introduced better. Hehe… Not that hot as Ma Lai which can be too much for me now and had enough of the spicy taste.
Ordered a lot of food – wantons, meat balls, vegetables, mushrooms, fish slices… Dumped everything in to let them cook at once. Everybody hungry hungry le. Hehe… Managed to finish everything up and went for our 2nd round – desserts.
Popped over to the TCC at Bugis Junction opposite the road. Had a taste of Eneristar’s chocolate cake and the rest of the 3 of us shared a cheesecake. Aqua said the cheesecake was too sweet but I found it okay. At least it was not that sweet as the one we had at Coffee Bean, the “Tian Si Ren” Cheesecake.
The girls gave me stretch marks cream and lotion for my belated birthday pressie. Thanks Girls for everything. I have started using them le. Lotion in the morning and cream for the night. Hehe…
