Lunar New Year

First day of the Lunar New Year, we visited my grandparents and grandaunt. Had lunch at Grandparents' place and dinner at Grandaunt's. Hehehe... Grandaunt's fried rice is superb, they are so bouncy and fragrant. Tasted differently from my Dad's, Dad's fried rice is more moist and will stick together. :p

Second day of Lunar New Year, Stella invited her Gor for a visit. I invited my Gor too but the couple were too busy with visitors at their own home to come. Hahaha... Anyway, Auntie Sharon and my cousins came over and we went to her house for dinner. Mum and Stella stayed overnight while Sara and me came back in Alex's car.

Today is the third day of the Lunar New Year, I have no plans for the day. Maybe, I will simply just rest at home. Have been sleeping late for the past few nights and tomorrow will be a busy day ahead. Plenty of things to do when work starts. Happy go lucky... Lol...

Lunar New Year Eve

This year's lunar new year eve is still not bad... Though Mum was there "Cannot call any one of you to help! Should not have moved house...! Should not have given birth to so many children...! Should not have gotten married!" Haiz...

Anyway, I managed to finish my spring cleaning with Sara's help. Hehehe... My naughty little sister. We had a good time. While we were cleaning together, we talked and chatted, shared a number of interesting happenings in her school.

Stella joined the Chinese Orchestra in her school. Lol... I wondered what instrument she is going to play. Is it our influence? I was in the Chinese Orchestra in my Junior College days and Sara is in her school's too.

Lol... Initially, Sara was suggesting that we go for a last minute shopping but she changed her mind after dinner! Hehehe... Little girl's mind changed like the weather. Dinner is Pork chops with Shark fin soup. Dad's the chef. Yummy yummy. Simple but nice dinner. Pretty enjoyable. We even have a little red wine. ;)

Holidays

Lol... Been so busy these few days. Orders have been coming in like mad and L/Cs are being submited like mad. A lot of things to follow up and check. Boss is back in the office today, going back to Myanmar this weekends.

I just realised something - Holidays make work more hectic! Why? Because I have to cover the work that I cannot do due to the holidays before and after. Now, I can understand why holidays can make some people depressed and upset. Nevertheless, I intend to enjoy my holidays, my break. Hehehe...

Met Erjie's big big boss, Robert. He gave me a pretty nice impression. "You know, I have this employee called Serene..." I did not need him to finish before answering him. "She is my sister." Hahaha... :p

I am off to watch my show now. Hehehe... Tata!

Spring Cleaning

Looks like it will be a last minute rush for me this year or none at all. Am so lazy... Actually, I dont really have the mood to do it. Clean clean clean but the room still feels clutter. I guess that is the meaning behind spring cleaning for CNY - To throw out unwanted stuffs, to clear your space, to get rid of the clutter.

Mum did an amount of spring cleaning. She trashed out things in her room, cleaned the windows and floor. Is trying to tidy up the studyroom? Honestly, I dont think so. And I dont think that she will make it on time too, her pile of things is still on the living room's floor though it is a smaller pile now.

Hahaha... Seems like I am pretty crossed now. 'Xin You Yu Er Li Bu Zhu'. I better no see, no hear and no talk. :p

Chinese New Year Shopping

Hehehe... I bought lots of things... Lots of things... I have fortune cookies, preserved winter melons/chestnuts/coconuts, almond/macadamia/cashew/pistachios nuts, sweets, chocolates, tapioca chips, cuttlefish and erm... What do you call that? Fried fish? Lol... They are all the new year goodies that I bought. Oh... I forgot... Still have BBQ pork and pineapple tarts. Hehehe...

Dad said he left the goodies shopping to me. Hehehe... I think he knows me well enough. If I buy and he still buys, there will simply be too much. Anyway, not much people will visit us, only Uncle Lee and family.

Cannot wait for CNY to come. Hehehe... It will be a nice break for me from work. Thank goodness... Hehehe... I need/want the break. =p

Rara's Beginning

Sara was nearly late for school today. Imagine my surprise when I still saw her in bed when my alarm clock rang. Luckily, I woke up at 6.45pm today. On Tuesday, I woke up yelling Rara! I thought she was still in bed because I saw a big lump there. It turned out to be a pile of pillows and banket. Lol...

Sara said that the New Year is a new beginning. What beginning? Hehehe... Beginning of headaches! Lol... She was complaining about things at school. First day of school happened to be a Tuesday and Tuesday happened to end late (4pm). Moreover, she had homework on the first day. Poor Rara... *Sayang sayang*

Happy New Year 2006

2005 has been a rather tough year for me... Not only me, but some of my friends as well. Plenty of problems, ups and downs. I hope 2006 will be a better year for all of us... ^-^

I cherish thee... The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen nor touched... But are felt in the heart...
