Workmanship
Okies, bought our 4 steps ladder from Carrefour yesterday. Brought it to our flat this morning to have a thorough check on all the cupboards. Their workmanship is HORRIBLE!
Here a bit chipped off, there a hole drilled wrongly. Told them about it and they said that it is normal! Moreover, they just pasted a sticker over the holes or used silicon to smoothen the chipped area. Wondered what are their guarantees for? Sianz... WARNING: THINK TWICE, MAYBE THRICE OR MORE BEFORE YOU USE UNIQUE DESIGNS!
The interior designer seemed rather pissed off with us. Face black black as she wrote down all the defects. However, who cares? We paid a thousand plus for each cupboard they did and this is what we get. If that is the case, we might as well buy ready made ones. Maybe, workmanship would be even better...

Shopping
Met up with Dar dar to go shopping today. Was late leaving the office because waiting for our shipper to send us the AWB which we need to forward to our customer. I worked till blur blur, mixed up the shuttle's timing. Should be glad that we didnt miss the bus.
Dar dar got more upset when I even mixed up all the dates that our furniture and alter table were supposed to come in. He said the alter table will come in on 26th, while the rest of the furniture cannot make it on time, coming on 29th Tuesday. However, I heard as alter table coming on 29th while the rest of the furniture on 2nd Feb. Haiz...
Went to Raffles City's Food Junction Food Court to have our dinner. Dar dar had Ba Chor Mee while I had Lor Mee. Tried to take our own sweet time, everything also slowly do. Slowly eat, slowly walk, slow look, slowly see...
Girls, I think I saw the wallets that you all saw. They had the "Turn left, Turn Right" pictures by Jimmy on those a bit shiny white leather, right? Aqua, we are still awaiting your advise loh. Hehe...
Popped by Harvey Norman which we got a good deal on the Karcher vacuum cleaner. It was $145, even cheaper than Parasilk. We also got our ladder.

Lost My Head
Been really busy... Buzz like nobody's business?
Our flat is still renovating. If all goes well, Interior designer should be handing it over to us this saturday. If all goes well... Had been delayed again and again. Initially, we were told that it would be ready by Xmas. As carpenters were not available, it was delayed till last week. Then now, we were told that there was no stock for our kitchen cabinet top. Haiz... Took time out to do the shopping - Bathroom accessories, doorbell, lights...
As our accounts had not close yet, we cant use the system to generate out the P/Os. Numbers need to reset for the new year. Oh wells, generate the manual ones slowly. Furthermore, due to the structural change, we had to change all the address in our correspondences with immediate effect. Also manual loh, need time to order mah. Then shipments are getting more frequent. I will be having 4 shipments this week. Happy-go-lucky...

Deed's Birthday Celebration
The girls decided to have potluck in celebration of Deed's birthday as well as for xmas...
The 5 of us discussed on the food to bring for potluck least we brought duplicate. It was decided to meet at the bus stop near Eneristar's house at 2.15pm, after I knocked off. Went down the Cold Storage to buy the roasted chicken and chocolates.
Eneristar and Deed were going to make popiah, Aqua sushi while Rainbow (nickname that Deed had given her) dumplings and desserts. Ooo... :d Thought I were be late but reached Eneristar's place about the same time as Deed and Aqua. In fact, think Aqua and me took the same bus without knowing...
After making a mess of Eneristar's kitchen, we finally sat down to have our lunch at 3.30pm. Lol... Though late lunch but think we forgotten much about hunger, having so much fun cooking, especially the fried egg and sushi.
All of cuddled into the room after lunch. Here Rainbow did wonderful painting on Aqua and Deed's faces. They looked so pretty and different after the session. Cant post the photos here without their permission. :p
We played our favourite game, Jenga and had our favourite snack, potato chips before we exchanged pressies. Hehe... Hope the girls like them. :) Then Deed opened up her birthday pressies. Eneristar wanted to faint waiting for her to open Aqua's but she looked really happy with the pressies!
It was a very pleasant session together. Thanks girls.
