I Blew My Top
The "new" guy made me blew my top on Thursday...
Danny asked me to pass the shipping documents to him to do while I take back the P/O stuffs. That is because shipping documents are important and he cannot trust a temp to do it well when I am away, having my maternity leave.
Not that I looked down on this guy but he really cannot make it. Can you imagine him still sending the P/Os to the wrong Suppliers up till now, despite Danny giving him a list of Suppliers in charge of which products.
If he is not sure and he asks, that would not be so bad but the thing is he thought he knew and went ahead. After that, we will be doing extra by helping him clear up the mess. Can you imagine that this guy has been with us for a year by end of this month?
Out of 3 Containers, 1 AB shipment, 1 RSM shipment and 1 Air Freight, I only passed him 1 Container, 1 Air Freight and 1 RSM shipment loh. Lol... There are 2 more containers over the weekends that I am planning to do myself too.
He asked me how to do, I told him many times with the last time an example he had done. I checked some parts of his work. But I guess he still didnt understand. I told him, "Put the list of additional items into a carton. Like this one you have done for Pallet 1..." "Orh..."
Told him to check everything carefully before he sends to Shipper... "Orh..." Then 4 cartons of 8 pcs, with total quantity 32 pcs, what did he put? Extraction from document : (600 g x 32 ctns x 4 pcs) O.o
Eventually, I took it back to do on my own. Let him do is equivalent to me doing it myself. A waste of my time giving him instructions, telling him what to do. Is he too slow or he really didnt bother to learn/check?

Doing GM is his job and doing GM required original invoices. My guess is there are a lot of GM pending because he has not received the invoices yet. The accounts girl came down to ask and he said he didnt receive. Asked why he didnt follow up, he didnt know those people.
Mind you! He was issuing P/Os to these Suppliers before I take back and pass shipment stuffs to him! Then the accounts girl turned to me and I restorted, "Ask him, he is the one issuing the P/Os to these Suppliers. If he doesnt know these Suppliers, then who does?!" He kept quiet after that.
What is your verdict then? Will it be the same as me?
After that, Danny sent me an email the next morning. He asked me to have more patience when teaching "new" guy the shipment stuffs. As he has a lot of things to do now, asked me to hold giving him shipment stuffs till he has cleared his work.
I dont care whether he learns or not. Eventually, when I am on leave and not around, I am not the one to be affected. You all Zhi Ji Bao Zhong!

Recent Happenings
Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar on Friday night. Reports said that thousands were dead in the natural disaster. Things in the office were still calm. Words from our Myanmar office that all the staffs were safe except for the damages caused to their homes, the warehouses and goods.
I sensed their eagerness to get moving again, to start doing business. I guess that is the difference between the rich and the poor... Heard that there is no electricity except for those who had generators. No fresh water and limited food supply. The rich should be able to afford but not the poor...
On a happier note...
I went for my checkup today and Pastries came by for a visit. Hehe... Thanks dear. :) We had a good chat. She said my tummy looked so small. Well well... Hmm... I am putting on weight so am healthy and baby's growing. Hehe... So dont worry too much. :) You have to take good care of yourself too. Rest more whenever you can, ok?
Ate up the chocolate cake she bought me, after she left. Yummy yummy... Told her how much durians I had lately, my dear Louye went and bought some more on our way back. Lol... Well, he doted on me and baby mah. He also bought jackfruits, persimons and jambues. Hehe...
Next appointment is on Thusday morning. After today's audio check, I supposed they are going to have an ultrascan to check visually on the baby's heartbeat? Yeah, gonna see baby again. Hehe...
On a lower note...
1st Choice tried to call me but I didnt pick up the phone. Maybe, they wanted to try settle the stuffs without Case. However, I/we have no interest in interacting with them. Leaving it to Case fully to settle as they had already caused us enough anguish as it is. Argh!
On a higher note...
Am going to go for holiday again if all goes well. The trip is scheduled in the June. The Kwok family is planning to go to Thailand/Bangkok for 5 days, a group of 10 people.
Initially, was thinking about visiting Sukhothai but it is 400+ km from Bangkok. Erm... And Dar dar said there is nothing much to see in Ayutthaya. Hence, we are setting our sights on Lopburi.
None of us had been there. It seems interesting that it is an ancient city and had a museum. Too bad that we missed the sunflower full bloom. Hehe... Looking forwards to the trip! As it will also be after the detailed scan of my baby. Probably going shopping for baby's stuffs after learning its gender too? Hehe... ^-^
