Naughty Boy

Naughty boy had been getting bigger and naughtier. Now, he knew what he want and didnt want, being so stubborn, he simply refused to listen to you...

Dar dar came to pick me up from work at 2.30pm. Then we went to Gu Chays' place to pick up Han. Met Dreamer and the rest at the Ang Mo Kio Hub NUTC. Thought that Mum would be with them. Imagine my surprise when she called me to say that she wanted to come up to my flat when we were out. Apparently, Mum went out on her own and planned to meet everybody at my place.

We bought 1 whole ham, lettuce and cherry tomatoes for the salad, watermelon. After which we rushed home to heat up the porridge for Han's dinner. Naughty boy was hungry and made lots of noise on the way home. Thought Mum was around in Sangkang and would reach early. Ended up, she was the last one to arrive.

Food was good enough? Roasted chicken to replace the turkey. 2 big bowls of salad for vegetables. We added the watermelon into the salad as well. Another dish of steamed Saba fish which Dreamer brought along in case the chicken was too tough for Dad's teeth. Hehe... Simple meal which I hope resembled the Xmas dinner?

Naughty boy was enjoying everything including the fun too much to sleep. Though he was dead tired, he didnt want to be carried, he didnt want to lie on the bed. In short, he didnt want to sleep. Cried and cried till his eyes can no longer open. Lol...

Mum bought xmas present for me. I didnt know but I felt skeptical? Ended up with a weird dream in between Han's wails at night. Although he was asleep, he still "Lao Gai".

Dreamt that my mother, Louye and Gu Chays were in a room with an alter. Mum caused a fire on the alter and as she was the one holding onto the cloth, I asked her to fill it with water in order to quench the fire. She refused and dilly dally till the fire got bigger and more dangerous. I grabbed the cloth from her and put out the fire myself. But got scolded/accused of causing everything. Broke down and cried. Gu Chays witnessed everything and came to comfort me...

Weird, right? The other time, I went out with the girls and we talked about Mum. I also got another weird dream. I guess "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil"?

Jurong Bird Park

Went to Jurong Bird Park with the Kwok family...

Gu chays and Louye went to Downtown East to buy the tickets for entrance to Jurong Bird Park. They had a 30% discount there which we would like to grab. They even bought the tickets to the Singapore Zoo. Though we had no chance to go on an overseas trip as a family this year end and we wont be able to make it too next year, these would be good enough?

Met up at Gu Chays' place bright and early in the morning. The weather is nice and sunny but not as warm as the day before... Took 2 cars down, reaching there around 9am. Didnt like the photos that the photographers helped us to take. There were too much exposure with the sun in our faces, everybody were frowning away, though they let us held the birds.

We took a break at 10+am at the Lory Loft. Lol... This time I didnt dare to feed the birds... Maybe due to the bird flu thingy? I guess I am extra careful due to my son? Or maybe, it was due to the bad experience with the worms at the Waterfall Aviary the last time? Had sandwiches there and we moved on, having only covered 1/3 of the whole place?

Han walked quite a lot at the bird park. At the end of the morning, he was knocked out. Lol... Slept in the car as we left the place to have our lunch at Yan Court at Chinatown. Didnt manage to eat the Lui Sa Bao which we had in Hongkong as they were sold out. Such a pity, isnt it? This was the first time, we saw them in the Dim Sum Menu of the day.

Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable day... Everybody enjoyed the time spent with one another. That was called Tian Luan Zi Le?

Girlfriends Day

I received the following from an email which my colleague forwarded to me. Thought I will share with all of you here. Hehe...

Expo Food Fair

Supposed to meet Ghimbo after lunch as Aunt Sandy was going to bring her out for her acupuncture 1st. I had also arranged with Louye to have lunch together. However, there was a change of plans last minute as Aunt Sandy cannot make it.

Luckily, Louye was understanding so we went straight to Ghimbo's place and sent her for her acupuncture. It took longer than expected, we walked round and round while waiting for it to finish.

We had our lunch at a small coffee shop nearby. No wonder Ghimbo was thinner by the day? All she ate was a little bit of our vegetable rice... Just a little bit. So sad... And she said she was full already.

We made our way to Expo for the food fair after that. Ghimbo seemed to enjoy herself a lot. As we were going round the stalls, we met Deed who was there with her mother as well. Hehe...

Then we went to the John Little Sales where I bought my door/bath mats while Ghimbo bought her bag. Same thing for lunch happened during dinner. What can I do? After the day's outing, we sent her back home and Uncle Andrew came down to help her carry the stuffs up.

Love Thyself More

A lot of people experienced a lot of pain because they cared more for the people around them than themselves...

Love is a 2 way sword. It is good to care for and be concerned about your loved ones. But not to the extend where it made you so unhappy, depressed...

What good is there if it made you so miserable? Do you think you can still care for them to the best you can, to their best interest? So why? Why do you want to make yourself so sad?

And, it can become a vicious circle too... Your loved ones affecting you and you affecting them. When will this stop?

Love thyself more... You deserve it, you have done to the best to your ability. You know you love them, you know you did them no wrong... It is time to move on.
