Bangkok Day 3

Woke up early as the sun shone in... Yawn yawn yawn... No programs for the day until in the evening where we were be going for the Siam Niramit show. We decided to go further than MBK to other shopping centres.

Dar dar brought me to the Ocean World at the basement of Siam Paragon. It was fun. We bought a package for the Ocean World includsive of the entrance ticket, a free drink and ice cream, glass bottom boat ride and a 4-d movie show.

I think I like this ocean world better than our underwater world at sentosa. I guess not as messy? The overhead glass tank was not as long as Sentosa's, it was only a small part but had more tanks.

Got to touch a hedgehog there. Hehe... It was really cute, a small little animal. Reminded Dar dar of the movie, Over the hedge. Hee... Think if you stroke it the correct way, it was not as pricky as it was? After that, it was a snake but I didnt really like snake so didnt touch it.

The glass bottom boat ride was also very nice. Got to see the fishes in their correct size because the curvy glass tank manified the size of fishes by 30%. And think the curvy glass was about 7 inches thick loh.

We had our lunch in the food court - Wanton Mee. Guess we missed home a little? Did a little shopping at the supermarket there. Dar dar 'chided' me for trying to buy all those difficult to carry back food stuffs. Biscuits will become crumbs... Lol...

The Siam Niramit driver was on time. We had a quick dinner at the restaurant, our favourite was their curry chicken. Had a nice aroma smell/taste of basil but not overpowering. Walked around and took some photos with the elephants and casts of the Siam Niramit show. Fed and stroked the elephants, their hairs were pricky!

The show was fantastic, especially with all the special effects. The scene where the man jumped into the 'river', how did the water got so deep? The rain scene where water fell from the top. The painting scene where it came alive and back. They were wonderful!
