Woke up early for our breakfast as we were be going for our half day tour later. Had breakfast at the hotel's cafeteria, Party House One. It was buffet style. Think we had a huge breakfast with ham, sausages, french toast, yogurt, etc... Hee...
The driver came to pick us up at 7.30am. He picked up a few more passengers at another hotel before going to meet the tour guide at Chao Phraya River. Had to do some translation for the tour guide because she had a tourist who can only understand chinese.
We went down the river to Wat Arun, did some shopping there. Didnt get to go into the temple as we were only given half an hour to explore. Moreover, we need to pay to go in. Hence, we merely took some photos outside. Had a little costume parade. Hehe...
Ended the half day tour at the Gem Factory. Nothing there that caught our eyes though the salespersons tried and tried to promote their items. The products were expensive and no bargaining can be done...
Went back to the hotel and rest a while before we ventured out for lunch and shopping. The hotel staff managed to find a non-smoking double bed room for us. So happy! It didnt have a view as nice as the twin bed though.
Had our thai food lunch - Tom yam soup glass noodle, curry chicken and spicy chicken rice. Hehe... Shopped around MBK in greater details. Had our steak dinner. Dar dar had fish 'steak' while I had pork steak.
Rested and waited at the hotel for the driver to come pick us up for the cabaret show. Heard that there were three places for cabaret shows in Bangkok. Dar dar had been to the Asia Hotel's but the one we were going tonight was at Mambo Theatre.
Driver came very late, we missed half of the show by the time we reached there. In compensation, we were allowed to go in for the first half of the next show. Hehe... Had our complimentary drink twice.
Think by the time we reached our hotel room, it was already 11.30pm. Nice cozy bed, cant wait...
