Finally knew that the Sakura restaurant that my mum had been talking about was...
Was late going down to meet Uncle and Dar dar. Sorry that I had made the both of them wait... Haiz... Same as usual, some last minute request from 'you know who'. Guess I should have given myself some leeway...
Rain rain couldnt go away and ECP was heavy with traffic... We reached my place around 7pm. Fetched my parents and off we went to the Sakura Restaurant at Safra Tampines.
Mum and Dad had a good chat with Uncle in the car. The whole conversation was a mixture of cantonese, english and mandarin. Hehe...
Mum seemed to know a lot about Sakura. "Is this the Sakura you have been talking about?"
Had a great time and I think/hope our parents were getting along fine. ^-^ That would be a good start.
