Went to River Ang Bao with Ghimbo and aunt yesterday. Passed Ghimbo her belated birthday present as well. It was shared by both Dar dar and me, hope she liked it...
Chinese New Year celebrations had tuned down a lot... Can tell from the magnitude of the event. Used to have those artists from China selling their works, chinese paintings, calligraphies, chinese knots at River Ang Bao. They even have stalls selling local chinese delicacies from provinces of China. Now, they only opened in the evening and the food stalls were those that were found in the Basar Malam. Think Ghimbo was disappointed...
After that, we had our dinner at "San Zhong Liang Jian". Hehe... Uncle Andrew's treat. The chicken was the best dish there I think. Ghimbo asked what was the difference between the Ah Gong Vegetables and the Ah Po Vegetables... Turned out that one was spicy while the other was not. Lol...
We left the group not long after dinner. Gotta went back to Louye's place to pick up the naughty littly boy before going home. Missed the little guy. On the other hand, was happy to have the chance to go out on our own. With the little guy around, it was troublesome with big bags and small bags mah... :p
